3. Rockstar's Agent

Rockstar Games' Agent is one of the many titles under the publisher that has been lost in time such as Manhunt, Midnight Club, and Bully. But unlike the games mentioned, Agent never got a chance to fly before it received the chopping block.

The title was intended for the PlayStation 3 and would have been set in the Cold War. Agent was meant to be the next, great franchise for Rockstar and the developers, Rockstar North, had high hopes for it. The game was a stealth-based action shooter while dealing with espionage and assassinations.

As the developers were well-versed with stealth with previous entries such as Manhunt, Agent would have been the natural evolution of that gameplay. Unfortunately, there isn't much else to mention from the game other than the excitement of a new Rockstar franchise as no gameplay was ever shown.

Though no formal cancellation was given throughout the years, it was clear that Rockstar eventually moved on with Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption II. In 2021, gamers finally got confirmation as Agent was excluded from Rockstar's list of video games.
