10 Celebrities You Couldn't Take Seriously In Video Games

8. Emma Stone - Sleeping Dogs

Here's one to blow your mind a little - did you know that Emma Stone voiced a character in 2012's GTA-like Sleeping Dogs?

Stone portrays protagonist Wei Shen's love interest Amanda Cartwright, and while it's far from a bad vocal performance at all, it's just immensely distracting hearing this character being voiced by the actress' unique, husky tones.

This was true when playing the game in 2012 and it's far truer today, when Stone has two Best Actress Oscars to her name and it's unconscionable to consider her playing a generic minor love interest character in a crime thriller.

Though Stone isn't the only Hollywood talent in the game, the likes of Will Yun Lee, Tom Wilkinson, and Lucy Liu feel like far more natural fits for this pulpy world.

Meanwhile Stone, who was hardly just "the Superbad girl" in 2012, and only three years away from landing her first Oscar nomination, sticks out like a sore thumb.

Perhaps she just wanted to see what video game voice acting was all about, and this was a harmless, undemanding enough role to give it a try? Either way, her presence in the game is so, so odd.
