10 Celebrity Musicians Hidden In Your Favourite Video Games
1. Ariana Grande And Katy Perry - Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
They probably wouldn’t be your first pick as companions when defending the Earth against an army of darkness, but the two pop stars were included as bonus companions through collaboration events in the mobile tactical RPG spinoff Final Fantasy game, Brave Exvius.
Square Enix dipped into its catalogue of games by allowing players to have characters from games like Kingdom Hearts and Secret of Mana stand by their side, but people were probably confused when they heard the vocalists were to be added to the game.
Originally, Grande was only asked to write and perform an original song for the game, called Touch It. However, Square later gave her representation in the game with her own character in the form of Dangerous Ariana, the character sporting her well-known black bunny costume. Perry then joined the roster in December 2018 in the same fashion, recording the song Immortal Flame and also being given her own character.
Perry also had her own limited edition of The Sims 3 expansion, Showtime, which featured themed objects, hairstyles and a venue based off of her Teenage Dream album concept.
