10 Changes That Must Be Made To WWE 2K26

8. Allow For Online Tournaments

When playing online games such as Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto V, there is always a lobby of players looking to join online gameplay. That is true with WWE 2K25, but it only exists for one-off matches, as there is currently no option to join or create a tournament in the online mode - and that could be an easy fix for 2K developers.

As of now, tournaments do exist in WWE 2K25, though players have been forced to use websites such as Reddit to host and organize those online tourneys. This just adds an extra layer of work for players and surely eliminates some from participating. Using WWE2K forums to post about tournaments, and having a lobby where prospective players can see tournaments looking to add players would make the process much better. Even adding filters for skill levels, match rules, and the number of players could all improve the experience.

With an increased focus this year on online gameplay with the The Island, Visual Concepts would be wise to also do their best to improve all aspects of WWE 2K26's online portfolio.
