10 Classic Comics Insomniac Should Adapt For Spider-Man 2
1. Black Suit/Venom Arc
Venom has become one of the most popular villains from Spider-Man's rogues gallery. Venom's character is so popular and enduring that he has managed to make a name for himself away from the Wall Crawler, with the black suit and Venom comic book storylines beloved by fans thus making them the perfect adaptation for the sequel.
The black suit arc focused on Peter fusing with a symbiote that became Spider-Man's new suit. This made him more powerful, but also made the hero more prone to violence. After discovering what the creature was doing to him, Peter ditched it, and the symbiotic entity found a new home with Eddie Brock, with the two merging to become the supervillain now turned anti-hero known as Venom.
Venom is a deadly villain foe for Spider-Man to face, as he knows all his secrets and has similar abilities. The fact that Peter can not detect Venom with his Spider Sense also makes the foe scarier, as he can attack Peter at any given moment.
Having the black suit and Venom arcs in the sequel would allow Peter some valuable character development while presenting Peter with a very challenging new foe to face. If the ending of the first game is any indication, audiences could also see the game take the Ultimate Spider-Man animated route, and have Harry Osborn become the villainous monster.
