10 Classic Games Missing From The Sega Mega Drive Mini

1. Strider

Rocket Knight Adventure
Capcom

How on earth can you not put a game on your system that not only received the awards 1990 Video Game of the Year and Best Graphics in a Video Game from Electronic Gaming Monthly, but is also one of the most fun games on the system?

Although a port from the original arcade version of Strider, it was on the Mega Drive that it found its firm footing and became a best-seller for Sega.

Strider is awesome in so, so many ways. You're a ninja with fluid movement. You have an actual plasma sword. You can slide. You can latch onto things. You even have a grappling hook.

Couple that with a totally '90s future aesthetic that rivals the best of the era, and you've got one of the finest games available on the system. Alas, it is not available on the Mega Drive Mini.

Perhaps Sega should take strides to get it on there before release? If not, there's probably someone out there who can figure out how to get missing games on the system.
