While developers are choosing whether to implement Pro support on a case-by-case basis, it's clear that Sony in particular is committed to beefing up even their older first-party titles with brand new Pro makeovers.

But that means the biggest showcases for the console are games you've already played to death. The likes of Infamous Second Son and even this year's Horizon Zero Dawn shine the most, yet most die-hard PlayStation fans will have platinumed these titles already.

In a way it gives you a reason to return to these older games and appreciate them from a fresh perspective (I've personally been enjoying going through Shadow of Mordor again in full 4K), but the future still isn't clear for which titles are going to benefit the most from the Pro's improved horsepower.
