3. The Confused Multiplayer Camera - Super Mario 3D World
The Wii U may have had a less than impressive launch, but if any game could redeem that lost, it was Super Mario 3D world. Combining the best of the old school and the new school Mario games, Nintendo has managed to make a Mario title that is just as fun to play as they've always been. There's a lot to be said for just plain old fun - and Super Mario 3D World has plenty of that. The music hits you with beautiful, nostalgic tracks, Mario and company's transition to next gen has done them well, and the levels are as fun and inventive as ever, all the while not being afraid to show us that platformers can still provide loads of challenge. With the addition of a cooperative mode, the fun is multiplied by however many players choose to partake. This provides some great times, but the co-op isn't without one irritating hiccup: the camera. The more players that are participating, the more the camera just can't seem to work out what it's doing. It holds up well enough in single player, but be prepared to pin blame on the camera if you lose to your opponents.
