10 Disturbing Video Game Secret Areas You Regret Finding

8. The Ghost Room - Call Of Duty: Finest Hour

Call of Duty has always enjoyed creeping players out with spooky easter eggs and screamers (especially in the Zombies mode), but easily the weirdest thing the devs have ever crammed into one of these games is the haunted room from Finest Hour.

Though the defining original game started one of the biggest franchises in the industry, it released exclusively on PC, and Finest Hour was crafted to compliment the main title so console owners didn't miss out on the fun.

While it was mostly a sub-standard spin-off, it did boast one thing Activision's PC effort didn't have: a completely terrifying secret room full of pictures of apparitions. To get in at all you need to throw two grenades at the locked door, hit the action button, and then hit it again with another grenade - an amount of effort not worth the uneasy dreams you'll be having for weeks afterwards.

Why is the room there? Who are the pictures of? What's with the creepy ghost kid who floats out the room? Why is there a giant rat? All great questions that will never be answered.
