10 Disturbing Video Game Secret Areas You Regret Finding

9. The Post-Apocalyptic "Cheers" Bar - Fallout 4

Fallout 4 Cheers
Bethesda

There's no shortage of cool hidden rooms to find in Fallout 4, but the one that sticks out the most is perhaps the simplest. While exploring the ruins of Boston, you can stumble across a bar that's been completely destroyed, but with the skeletons left in remarkably good condition.

The 'Prost Bar' as it's called is kind of like a museum, and it's eerie how untouched the former patrons are, but at first glance it's not exactly the weirdest location in a game full of Lovecraftian caves and nuclear beasties.

If you know your German though (or have access to Google translate like me), you'll know that 'Prost' translates to 'Cheers', and that the bar itself seems a little familiar. In fact, it's almost identical to the one from Cheers the TV show, which was also set in Boston.

Put two and two together, and it's clear the world of Cheers exists in Fallout 4, and those skeletons are those of the beloved characters you once enjoyed watching.
