10 Essential Disney Video Games For Hardcore Fans

7. Goof Troop

Duck Tales
Capcom

Goof Troop was developed for the SNES by Capcom, and unlike most Disney games made for the system, Goof Troop wasn't a platformer. Instead, it was a puzzle adventure game starring Goofy and Max, who get stuck in puzzle rooms, which can only be solved when the player finds a way to use both characters' skills.

The game could be played by a single player, but it was best when two people got in on the action. Doing so made it more realistic for each player who had to rely on one another to accomplish a puzzle and move on to the next room.

The game was well-received when it came out, and it was fun for kids, but it wasn't a huge hit with adults. This was primarily due to the fact that the puzzles were often too easy to complete, so the game didn't present much of a challenge.

That's not a huge detractor when the game in question is a licensed Disney property, so the children who got their hands on this in 1993 didn't have much to complain about. The game isn't incredibly long, but that doesn't stop it being a fun and entertaining way to explore the cartoon on a Super Nintendo.
