Remember the first PS4 conference that detailed all of the amazing ways the console was going to be Sony's most player-friendly gaming machine ever? Features including second screen gaming and voice commands that would help the console truly meet it's moniker of being "for the players" were touted and they were impressive. One of the most talked about additions at this time was the introduction of a suspend feature which would allow players to pause and resume their games as they pleased. The feature would apparently allow the machine to slip into a super low power mode and remain in this state until a single button was pressed and players could jump back into the action. Neat, huh? Well sadly this feature is still only hypothetically neat, as it hasn't actually become a reality yet. Initial suggestions implied that the feature would be included upon the device's release in November last year, but shortly before the release it was pushed back to - at the time - "the near future". One year on and players are still waiting for this feature to be added, but there seems to be absolutely no word on when it can actually be expected anymore, if at all. As a feature that received a lot of positive press pre-release, this is definitely not one that Sony will want to let slip away for good.
