10 Fanboy Reasons To Be Excited About Hitman

9. Timed Assassinations Add Some Variety To A Winning Formula

Although such objectives will probably be fleeting, it's interesting to note that the new Hitman title will include some timed assassinations. What this means is that gamers will need to eliminate a target before they evacuate a certain area, adding a bit of a rush to planning. There's an air of later Assassins Creeds about this, and some may not enjoy the limitations. However, if they're kept to a minimum, this could become a great new addition to the Hitman formula. They will obviously need to work in context of the story; say if a target has become aware that an assassin is in the local area, leaving them on edge and scrambling to find a way out before they are murdered, for example. These time limits will hopefully not be too strict, because part of the fun in Hitman games is being able to take time and get to know the surroundings. That said, if they are minimal, they could become some of the more exciting missions in the entire game. At the very least, it's nice to see IO seeking out fresh gameplay mechanics.
