The Star Wars universe is especially clear-cut when it comes to the good guys and the bad guys, with those turning to the 'Dark Side' being presented as anything but worthy of a victory.

At least, that is the case until Darth Traya presented herself in Knights Of The Old Republic II: Sith Lords.

Traya, initially disguised as a party member named Kreia, acts as the player's mentor throughout the majority of Sith Lords, claiming to have a connection with them through the Force. Everything from the character's look to the beliefs she explains were designed to encourage players to think more about the grey areas surrounding the Force, as opposed to the linear 'Good vs Bad' approach that is usually presented.

Darth Traya is one of the most interesting characters from the Knights of the Old Republic series, throwing up interesting points about morality that fit exceedingly well in a role-playing title. Not believing in the Force pre-determining someone's path, it's understandable why she took so much issue with this simple separation between light vs dark.

A truly thought-provoking and interesting character, Darth Traya's boss battle is sure to leave some players wondering if the universe is better off without the Force.
