Let's move from one legendary Nintendo series to another, and it won't be a hard sell to convince you that this one really is in the big leagues.

Rumours of a LoZ animated series have been abundant for years now, as it's one of the formative video game franchises of all time. Hell, viewers even got one back in 1989, but let's just say it could do with a fresh coat of paint - probably by the bucket load.

The world of Hyrule is genuinely magical, and an anime would, no doubt, capture that well. There's even evidence for this in Akira Himekawa's incredibly popular manga series. This collection of books took each game and crafted a complete story out of it, developing the characters further and having fun with the narrative. It's a no-fail scenario.

Seeing Link share in adventures alongside the titular princess would be a delight, and each season could focus on a different game/story arc - meaning it could be a long-lasting series with excellent recyclability.

Make it happen, Nintendo, for the princess!
