Unsurprisingly, considering the game sees you scaling towers and jumping from ridiculous heights, the Assassin's Creed series is full of amazing sights. Impressively, most locations in the series are based on real-life cities too, allowing players to get a good look at exotic locations they may never visit. Even then, it's unlikely that anybody will ever see these cities from the same perspectives as our Assassins; not unless you fancy a bit of free-soloing. As a result, there's plenty of sights that could have made this list but Assassin's Creed II's portrayal of Renaissance Italy is particularly special. Taking the densely populated Rome and turning it into a playground is easy in a game based around free-running but making it look visually spectacular is an added bonus for players. Thankfully, Ubisoft's recreation is every bit as breathtaking as the real-life city; the sprawl of buildings looks mightily impressive from above. Like the real-life tourist destination, Rome is a city you want to get lost in while exploring; the added bonus here is you don't need to pay for an airplane to get there. You can also do a bit of sightseeing within Ubisoft's game; the Colosseum is recreated in game in an original form and other landmarks like the Pantheon are faithfully featured too. Of course, you'll mainly be in Rome for a spot of assassinating but taking the time to get up high and look out upon the city is just as rewarding.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
