Apparently Activision gave Bungie five hundred million dollars to complete Destiny; we're willing to wager that a huge chunk of that went into building amazing looking sci-fi worlds. Despite only featuring a handful of planets, each one looks unique and exotic; something that few other games can boast. Bungie can even make Earth seem like an undiscovered world; that's just how good they are at making sci-fi environments. Few views in Destiny match the one seen from the Tower though. From the second you arrive, you'll gaze out across the Earth's surface and be amazed. Better still, it continues to amaze every time you return to the Tower; how often can you say that about a game? You'll have undoubtedly seen people posting screenshots of their characters sitting in front of this view posted all over the internet; it really is spectacular. It's a view that is constantly changing too. As day turns to night in-game, you'll see lights begin to cover the tiny buildings below. When the skies are bright blue, you can see far off into the distance, scoping out a far off city and distant mountains. Like the best watercolours, you can simply sit near the railing of the Tower and gaze off for what seems like hours on end; kudos to Bungie for capturing the beauty of Earth within their game.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
