10 Greatest Heels In Video Game History
5. Revolver Ocelot - Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid's longest-serving villain is the inimitable Revolver Ocelot, who made his unforgettable debut in the original Metal Gear Solid, which cemented his penchant for showy gun-slinging and theatrical encounters with Snake, topped by that deliciously gravelly voice.
Though Ocelot didn't become the series' main villain until Metal Gear Solid 4 - albeit while apparently possessed by the remnants of Liquid Snake - his appearances throughout the series only further established him as an ice-cold, calculating badass.
Metal Gear Solid 3 in particular gave fans a highly entertaining window into Ocelot as a spryer younger man, a classic chickens**t heel with a serious cowboy fetish who will change allegiances on a dime if it best serves his own interests.
By the end of Metal Gear Solid 4, Ocelot had played just about every possible side against one another, and as satisfying as it was to finally take him down for good, what would the series have been without his slick malevolence?
