10 Greatest iPhone Games Ever

7. Cut The Rope

A hugely fun physics-based game, Cut The Rope had players swiping across touchscreens in order to free candy and feed a little green creature called Om Nom. Swiping across ropes would allow players to manipulate where the candy would drop, with each level getting progressively harder to achieve. Cut The Rope was a commercial success for makers ZeptoLab and spawned a number of sequels on various platforms including iOS. The game even took the award for Best Handheld Game at the Games Developers Choice Awards in 2010 beating the likes of Metal Gear Solid and God of War. There has even been a Cut The Rope web series while Om Nom has inevitably also been immortalised as a plush toy for children.
