10 Greatest Pokémon From Generations I And II

7. Crobat

Crobat Poison/Flying Zubat - Golbat - CROBAT Zubat becomes Golbat at Level 22, Golbat evolves into Crobat via an increase in happiness (usually around Level 45 onwards) I don't think I really need to explain this one: Crobat is just awesome - it's easily one of my personal favourites and it is also very powerful. Crobat's main strengths are in its Attack and Speed stats, which means it's an excellent hit and run Pokémon. The difficulty in training a Crobat is that it can be frustrating to evolve from a Golbat. There isn't a set target to reach to gain yourself a Crobat like there is for say a Kingler or a Butterfree so it can be infuriating when your Crobat levels up and doesn't evolve when you're expecting it to. However, it's still awesome looking and super powerful with great moves like Bite and Wing Attack backed up by the HM Fly and the TM's containing Steel Wing, Giga Drain and Hyper Beam. As well as the above taught moves, if you breed a female Crobat with a male Murkrow then you can train up another Zubat which knows the awesomely cool move: Faint Attack - and what's cooler than a Crobat using Faint Attack? Nothing. Well you know, in Pokémon terms.
