10 Greatest Pokémon From Generations I And II

8. Octillery

Octillery Water Remoraid - OCTILLERY Remoraid becomes Octillery at Level 25 Octillery will probably come as a surprise to most people who read this but I think it's a pretty cool choice because it's one of kind. Being an octopus type creature there aren't many comparisons to Octillery and it therefore represents quite a unique image to us. I suppose Tentacruel and Tentacool are similar because they are squid types but Octillery is the only octopus we encounter during Generations I and II so that's why I think it deserves a place on this list. The fact it is so unique also means it looks pretty cool, plus you can't even encounter one of these Pokémon without first catching a Remoraid and then training that Remoraid until it evolves into the Pokémon in question - that means it's really, really rare. Octillery is pretty strong too, learning moves such as Bubblebeam, Octazooka, Ice Beam and Hyper Beam - as well as the HM Surf and useful TM's such as Toxic and Swagger. Octillery is strong, unique and is still cool nearly 13 years after Pokémon Gold and Silver's release date.
