10 Greatest Pokémon From Generations I And II

5. Houndoom

Houndoom Fire/Dark Houndour - HOUNDOOM Houndour becomes Houndoom at Level 24 This is where we start to get serious! The top end. The crème de la crème of Pokémon coolness. These next five Pokémon are certainly amongst the coolest from the first two Generations of the game, and perhaps they are amongst the coolest Pokémon ever. In an at number five we have Houndoom. A Dark and Fire dual-type Pokémon. It's just such a beast - like the Devil's pet! With a pointed tale and firey background it's obvious to see why. Houndoom is another Pokémon that has been sustained by some of the epic fan art created by lovers around the world, similar to Haunter. With the clear lack of Dark type Pokémon in Generation II, Houndoom is unique and very special which may be why so many people took to it. You can't catch yourself Houndour at the start of your adventure, so it is difficult to acquire yourself a Houndoom to slot straight into your party but, upon capturing one on Route 7 they can be easy to train using the Exp. Share. And it's a worthwhile task too because Houndoom is a match for many of Generation I and II's finest Pokémon - learning powerful moves such as Faint Attack, Flamethrower and Crunch. As well at TM's such as the super powerful Fire Blast and the surprising Solarbeam - couple these Fire type moves and Solarbeam with the TM for Sunny Day and Houndoom becomes a complete tank capable of beating most Gold and Silver Pokémon.
