The reward for finding each of these coins, aside from an achievement and a sense of pride, is that the player gets the ability to unlock a hidden door inside the main temple where you go after defeating every Colossi. Inside this room is a sword known as Dormin's Sword. The sword gives players a better attack but at the cost of lower health regeneration as the sword is infused with a dark aura.
