7. Beetle Juice - The Sims 4

There are plenty of regular household objects in The Sims 4 that can kill your family. Burning ovens, broken electronics, pools surrounded by fences—you name it!

This said, in most cases it's pretty easy to figure out when an item is safe to use and when it can cost your Sim their life, usually because they sparkle with electricity or they're very visibly on fire (case in point, it's on you if you die to them).

The only object that doesn't let you know it's potentially lethal to use is the beetle juice.

Introduced in the Eco Lifestyle, the beetle juice is a special type of drink the player can make using the DLC's bug farm.

Despite it being made with literal bug fluid, the drink requires ten mixology points to create, raising an eyebrow as to why it is the case.

Well, the answer is that the drink can kill!

Although drinking bug juice is safe if you do it once or twice, after a third sip, your Sim will suddenly transform into a ghost and die!

This is an obvious and quite humorous reference to Tim Burton's Beetlejuice, but still, if you don't want your Sim to suddenly pass to the other side, stay away from the bug blood cocktail!
