8. Bees Spelunky
Nothing has inspired more fear in to the heart of these brave underground explorers then the distant sound of buzzing. Normal bees are enough to send fully grown adults into a unflattering sprint, so encountering a hive of giant honey-addicts is anything but relaxing. Add the fact that youve probably not uncovered that shortcut yet and a single sting of the these overgrown garden pests can send you straight back to the beginning. Spelunkys randomly generated levels and perma-death both make for addictive play, but these enemies turn the jungle world into a terrifying maze as you do your best not to lure any from their hive. The aforementioned procedurally randomly generated levels however, mean that you'll sometimes venture through the hive directly, attracting not only the swarm but the queen as well... lovely stuff.
