4. God Of War Collection

What It Contains: God of War 1 and 2 The God of War collection was the pioneer of HD remakes, and thankfully it was a good one, otherwise studios may not have placed more into development. The idea was to release something that could get those that have never played God of War interested in the series, as the hugely-hyped trilogy-capper in God of War 3 was around the corner. Thankfully, Sony and Bluepoint Games didn't rush out an insincere project solely to generate some extra buzz, and instead really put in the effort to upgrade these games graphically, giving the collection appeal to those that have already played the games. This may be another collection that really only upgrades the graphics, but what is done here is highly detailed and renders the originals obsolete.
