10 Hidden Video Game Rewards Given To Smart Players

Baldur's Gate 3 is filled with secret rewards that are just waiting to be discovered by clever and inquisitive players.

The most powerful of these is Nyrulna, a legendary trident that deals huge amounts of thunder damage and is enchanted to return to the player's hand, which you obtain by outsmarting a Djinn named Akabi, who runs a rigged wheel game at the circus in Act 3.

Discovering and then beating Akabi's scam is something that requires quite a bit of clever thinking. It's not as easy as simply passing a few skill checks. Successful checks can hint that the Djinn is cheating, but afterward it's up to you to figure out how to cheat him back.

More specifically, you have to realize he keeps something in his inventory to manipulate the wheel, a magical ring, and then personally come up with a plan to steal it off him without being seen by Akabi or other circus attendees.

After the Djinn has no way to affect the wheel, you can finally get the main prize… which turns out to be a one-way trip into a dinosaur-filled jungle.

Luckily, if you survive, you can find a chest with Nyrulna near the exit portal.

Getting the weapon is a long process of tasks that the game doesn't really guide you in any way, but seeing how powerful Nyrulna is, the effort seems totally justified.
