Geralt is the ultimate male power fantasy of this generation. Those scars, that top-knot, those mesmerising cat-eyes and the disinterested demeanour of a pick-up artist all work together to make the hero of The Witcher series one of gaming's most libidinous lotharios. He may look like a narcissistic hipster who sleeps with women for sport, but he's surprisingly choosey, generally jumping between the sheets with fighters, powerful witches, mages, and other respected - or at least feared - figures in society. Okay, there are plenty of prostitutes along the way, but no one's feelings are getting hurt there. Geralt is a kind of high-fantasy Don Draper, emitting an enigmatic, troubled aura that makes him a veritable babe magnet. Like Don, he's not really out there looking for it, but accepts sexual advances in an "Oh, go on then" kind of way - all while his mind is really focused on Yennefer and Triss, the two leading ladies of his life. With that said, the fact that Geralt spends much of his time in a love triangle with plenty of frolicking on the side does make him a bit of a player - whether he means it or not.
