10 Horror Video Games To Binge Play On Halloween

3. Alien Isolation

If you're anything like me, your love for the Alien franchise pretty much evaporated after the first two films. You probably don't really care for 'Alien cubed' or Resurrection, and you really don't care for AvP or Prometheus (despite it being a great movie otherwise).

However, that will all change with Alien Isolation.

Developed by Creative Assembly, Isolation is the true sequel to Aliens the fans deserved. The attention to detail in this game's environment will make you feel as though you are playing a video game adaptation of the first film.

You play as Ripley's daughter, Amanda, who accompanies other Weyland-Yutani employees to a space station in possession of the Nostromo's flight recorder. Of course, once there everything goes to hell, and when the Xenomorph isn't stalking you, the station's inhuman Working Joe androids will be doing their best to crush you between their robotic hands.

Alien Isolation is a bit longer than most of the other games on this list, so I don't recommend trying to beat it in one sitting. You can try if you want, but the overly persistent Xeno's penchant for splitting your chest cavity in half may begin to grate.
