If you don't think video games are 'your thing', I recommend trying Until Dawn; the horror game made for people who'd really rather be watching a movie, but still want some agency in how a story unfolds.

This game is basically an interactive movie set on a remote, snowy mountain in Canada. The characters are played by real actors whose facial expressions and mannerisms have been captured perfectly - in fact you'll already know the likes of Peter Stormare, Hayden Panettiere, and Rami Malek from Mr. Robot.

Developing something of a cult following since release Until Dawn's gameplay is a little lacking and relies mostly on quick time events to progress the action, but your decision affecting the story's outcome in every respect, and make it fun to play through at least once - especially with friends.
