3. Modern Warfare
This is the Call of Duty game people have been wanting since Modern Warfare 3.
It may seem like a pretty definitive statement to make before the game has even released, but from playing both the Alpha and Beta, it's clear that Infinity Ward are returning to what blasted the series into stardom in the first place.
Multiplayer is already showing a hell of a load of promise in just a few short sessions. It has the rewarding feedback that other Call of Duty games have had, but the maps and guns feel so much better to play in.

Although we've only seen the multiplayer, the single-player is promising to be a gritty look at modern war, which is exactly what we want to see.
What makes the experience so much fun however is how good it feels to play. Guns have a massive kick to them, movement is fluid but not jetpack-y and hearing the call again for "grenade out" has never felt so good.
