10 Iconic Nintendo Games You Must Replay

9. Super Mario 64

Zelda Link To The Past
Nintendo

Super Mario 64 was perhaps the best 3D platformer of its generation. A compelling fantasy story drags you around Princess Peach's castle which has been bewitched to contain portals to a seemingly endless amount of levels.

The best thing about this game was without doubt its innocence. There's no weapons to speak of and the enemies are just on the right side of cartoony to keep the game universal. It's very unlikely the youngest gamers have finished the mammoth task of trouncing Bowser but the opportunity is without doubt there.

It has even been ported to the Nintendo DS to give the modern generation a chance to enjoy one of the N64's greatest titles of all time. The graphics were limited, the camera had it moments and it took forever to understand why there was a cannon in the front garden but no matter what - you can play this over and over again.

Replay Highlight: Stumbling across the Metal Cap unlocking level, and wreaking havoc as an invincible heavyweight.
