10 Iconic Nintendo Games You Must Replay

8. Star Fox Adventures

Zelda Link To The Past
Nintendo

Back in 2002, we knew about Fox McCloud thanks to previous titles like the titular Star Fox, Lylat Wars and Super Smash Bros. but we were used to him being an anthropomorphic X-Wing style pilot that relied on his flying skills and trusty laser pistol.

Then we're thrown onto a planet populated by dinosaurs and handed an upgradeable staff that was our only defence against tyrannical, prehistoric lizards. True, the game was originally called Dinosaur Planet and didn't feature Fox McCloud as its protagonist, but it was an inspired decision to include one of Nintendo's backup stars.

Yes, Prince Tricky is one of the most annoying sidekicks in gaming history, but you soon put the irritation to one side when you realise how effortlessly cool Fox is as a lead character. Add in some nightmarishly difficult puzzles and you can't help but reload this adventure over and over again.

Replay Highlight: Taking on Krazoa Andross in your trusted ArWing and finally being reunited with the suspiciously absent Falco Lombardi. F**k yes.
