Where Battlefield is the modern, realistic shooter that deserves a place in VR, Overwatch is the colourful, cartoon equivalent. With a fantastic cast of lively, diverse characters and an assortment of heavily stylised, but gorgeously vibrant maps to play on, Overwatch's world tops the list of shooters that should be played in VR.

Blizzard have managed to craft one of the year's most popular new franchises and in doing so, have opened the game up to fans in an innumerable amount of ways. The game world is so popular and inviting, that, much like Skyrim, players have already tried to get Overwatch to work in virtual reality:

The game itself would also benefit from the transition to virtual reality however. Being a strictly team-based shooter, playing Overwatch in VR would help with gameplay elements like Reinhardt's shield, especially being able to see it literally in front of you.
