3. PS4 Is $399, Supports Traded Games
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ-To7WJyWs Back before Microsoft completely turned around its new console, the gaming giant was essentially making every mistake you possibly could with the release of a new system. Going first at E3 2013, Microsoft completely bombed by announcing they were bundling the console with Kinect, restricting the machines capabilities with intrusive DRM and setting a price-point of $500 dollars. Watching the conference from backstage, the big-wigs at Sony must have been fist-pumping the air with excitement. At their event later in the evening the company essentially ran a victory lap around its competition, announcing that their console would not only have no restrictive DRM features, but that it would be a hundred dollars cheaper at a mere $399, to the cheers and applause of just about everyone in attendance. Not only did Sony completely trounce their rivals, but the company showed that it could learn from its past mistakes, essentially giving the exact opposite of the presentation they gave for the announcement of the Playstation 3.
