10 Impactful Moments That Made Gamers Cry (With Joy)

4. Fallout 4 Is Coming... 6 Months After It's Announced

Going into 2015 a lot of people expected to see a Fallout 4 announcement of some kind. With the game's location allegedly leaking years prior and part of the title's cast teasing a new release in the series, everything had been pointing to an unveiling by Bethesda this year - especially when the publisher announced they would hold a press conference at E3 for the first time in the company's history. However, fans definitely didn't consider what came next. Not only did the publisher announce that the game was in development, but that it was essentially complete, and players would be able to get their hands on it before the year was out. Announced for November 10th 2015, the release date meant that Fallout 4 would go from being unveiled straight to store shelves in less than six months, a huge rarity in today's gaming scene. Fans had been clamouring for a new entry into the series for years, and with this announcement Bethesda more than rewarded their patience and loyalty.
