9. James Bond 007: Blood Stone - Nicole's Killer
2010's James Bond 007: Blood Stone was Daniel Craig's second video game outing as the eponymous secret agent, with developer Bizarre Creations creating a single-player campaign that blended third-person shooting with high-octane driving sequences.
The story of Blood Stone saw 007 working with fellow MI6 operative Nicole Hunter. But just like Vesper Lynd before her, the character is revealed to be a traitor who has been responsible for kidnapping prominent researchers.
A chase ensues but before Bond can get the complete truth, Nicole is killed by an unmanned drone. Before she dies, she tells James that she was working for a powerful man - bigger than any one organization.
Developer Bizzare Creations unfortunately closed down after the release of Blood Stone and so this plot thread was left hanging. But with the subsequent Daniel Craig films, there has been speculation whether the man could have been Raoul Silva from Skyfall or even Blofeld himself.
