1. PS4 Dated For November 15th (US), November 29th (Europe)
Finally, the announcement that all Sony fans had been waiting to hear for months; we now 100% know when the console is going to launch in North America and Europe - November 15th and November 29th respectively. This in line with what had been expected, and is a particular coup for European gamers, who last time had to wait 4 extra months for the release of the PS3. Needless to say, Sony really has their head screwed on this time, and combined with their pricing and general attitude, seems to have learned from past mistakes. Still, this gives Microsoft a small window in which they can beat Sony to the punch with releasing their console, which will make this easily the most intense and exciting console war in the history of gaming.
