10 INSULTING Nintendo Switch Games

One More Level

Ghostrunner is an exhilarating action title in which katana-wielding protagonist, Jack, must blend parkour and deadly blade swings to continue their journey up Dharma Tower.

A game that requires quick reflexes and a precise aim, like a fighting game, you'll suffer if controls aren’t instantly responsive, or if the frame rate isn't steady.

The end goal is to rescue the enigmatic Architect, and there will tend to be a lot of frustrating deaths on the way to doing so. They'll be all the more frustrating if you failed to pull off a crucial shot or jump because an uneven frame rate threw you off.

Enter Ghostrunner on Nintendo Switch.

The title's performance has been improved through patches since an initial launch in October 2020, but stability is forever a core issue. Ghostrunner is a title that’s quite demanding regardless of system, and it’s an awful lot to ask of Nintendo Switch. Admirable as it is that the game has arrived and is now improved, the Switch is far from an ideal setting for it.
