10 Last-Gen Video Games That Need To Be Remastered

While the original PlayStation 3 title was a relatively overlooked cult classic, Nier: Automata was released to major acclaim and even caught the attention of PS4 owners who ordinarily wouldn't be caught in the same room as a JRPG. With that in mind, now would be an excellent time to return to the series roots and release a remastered version of the original game.

Itself an expertly-crafted spin-off of the works of mysterious, moon-headed creator Yoko Taro, many feel that Nier never recieved the amount of attention that it deserved. This public oversight may have been a byproduct of the relative stigma surrounding JRPGs that has only recently begun to lessen, though poor sales are often associated with any attempt to capture the interest of a niche market.

Regardless, Neir: Automata fans would likely love an excuse to get into the proceeding game, though most likely have their Xbox 360s or PlayStation 3's tucked away somewhere in their closets. Rather than digging them out, why not remaster the game for the consoles of the current day.
