5. Ryse

A trailer for Ryse first appeared 2 years ago at E3, showing off some of the more amusing capabilities of the Kinnect, as you brutally beat soldiers to death and eviscerate them with your sword (or in reality, your hand wrapped around an invisible sword). It was always assumed that the game would release for the Xbox 360 in haste, though recent rumours suggest that the game has in fact between reworked for the 720, and then presumably Kinnect 2.0 as well. If these rumours are to be believed, Ryse will now take advantage of the heightened tracking abilities of the new Kinnect camera, and naturally, if it shows up on May 21st, we can also expect to see a fine-tuned graphical engine. A first-person Roman simulator might sound gimmicky, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that all the gratuitous violence has my interest piqued.
