10 Lesser Known Video Games That Should Be Remade

5. Consortium

Despite coming out in 2014, Consortium (or CONSORTIUM, if you want to get serious) could definitely do with a bit of an upgrade - if only so people will pay more attention to its intriguing storyline instead of it being slightly janky.

Following a theme many have compared to Mass Effect, Consortium sees you play out what is essentially a murder mystery plot in space, feeling for all the world like you managed to accidentally snag your own private Star Trek episode. It's got several different endings, and countless lines of dialogue recorded to make your playthrough personalised - lines which are mercifully voiced by talented voice actors.

In terms of upgrades, it would only really need a graphical improvement and a bit of a bug sweep, which in the grand scheme of things is pretty light work when compared to many other remakes.

Being a space detective is a dream that you may not have realised you had, but should definitely be given chance to explore - which is why Consortium needs to be remade, so we can all live out our Doctor-Who-meets-Sherlock-Holmes fantasies.
