10 Lesser Known Video Games That Should Be Remade

6. Star Wars: Dark Forces

Okay, so let's address this right off the bat. Star Wars is... pretty much one of the most famous franchises ever. As such, Star Wars: Dark Forces did sell like proverbial hot cakes when it first came out in 1995, and continued to top sales charts for a good while afterwards. In short, it was very well known at the time.

However, unlike the first DOOM or Fallout, it isn't often spoken of to the same degree nowadays. And while that's understandable - it's been twenty-five years - it's also kind of a shame, because the story of Kyle Katarn is an undeniably engaging one.

While the Dark Forces plot was adapted into a series of books (and a series of toys), there's something far more immersive about being able to play as Katarn and have the story unfold more literally before you.

In remaking the game, developers could decide if they want the remastered version to continue to be a first-person shooter, or if they'd rather it followed similar lines to the more recent Fallen Order game. Either way, it's an extra little shot of Star Wars, and you can't say much fairer than that.
