The original Double Dragon came out in 1987 and opens to members of the Black Warriors street gang assaulting and kidnapping a young lady named Marian. Cue brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee who go on a rampage through the slums, a factory, and a forest before breaching the gang hideout and fighting everyone in their way.

If you were playing alone in the arcade, all you had to do was defeat the gang's boss - Willy and ta-da! Now they were trying to beat you senseless, to steal your girlfriend. Dick move bro, dick move.

Also kind of a troubling idea to subject a traumatized woman to being the sexual conquest of two violent dudes in the modern day, but the eighties were different, and ickier.
