10 Most Disappointing Games of 2012
8. Lego: Lord Of The Rings
The game itself is up to par with all the absurdity of past Lego games, which doesn't really say much - the main reason the game is disappointing has to do with the fact that it was made at all. The Lord Of The Rings has been a beloved and cherished series of books and movies for a while now and has established a huge fan-base. I am one of those fans myself and did not rejoice when I heard that my favorite book series would be turned to brick. The LOTR franchise has seen some really low points in its gaming history, this title might just beat all other to the top of the list. A ton of Xbox gamers were also disappointed when they found out they had the demo disc instead of the full game. The problem was quickly fixed but was still disappointing for someone who was excited to run around Middle Earth as a Frodo minifig. The idea of the game itself disappointed me and I'm almost certain Mr. Tolkien would agree. I could live with a Lego Harry Potter game, even a Star Wars one, but LOTR is a respected series of classic books and movies that shouldn't be touched.
