10 Most Impressive Open World Video Games Since 2010
2. Grand Theft Auto V
The world of GTA V is jampacked. You can rarely stumble more than twenty feet without finding some form of mini-game, strangers and freaks mission or just some cool and unique way to pass the time.
To use an extremely tired sentiment: It's like you are in the city. You can play tennis, watch a movie or even play a round of golf. As an open world game, it's probably the closest thing we have to a replication of our own world.
Admittedly, it's mostly busy work and hardly stands up as the most substantial content in the actual game, but you can't deny that Rockstar went to incredible lengths to create a living breathing world. One that will definitely be tough to top going forward.
Because who wants to go do real sport, when you can just do it in a video game?
