10 Most Overlooked Video Games Of 2017 (So Far)

10. Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is the most Ubisoft game Ubisoft has ever released. In fact, it's so emblematic of the company's approach to open world games - full to the brim with enemy outposts, collectables, and repetitive side missions to pursue - that it's almost a parody of the publisher's signature style.

But that's not necessarily a bad thing, despite what many of the critics said when Wildlands first dropped earlier this year. Even though the structure of the title would be familiar to anyone who has picked up a sandbox game in the past seven years, Ubisoft's latest release in the long running series is still a blast in its own right.

Especially if you're playing with friends, Ghost Recon can give you an absolute rush. The sheer amount of weapons to find and customise in the title's beautifully detailed open world means that the game always gives you a reason to jump back in to raid another enemy headquarters or assassinate another target, and it's all made better when you have a full party along for the ride.
