10 Most Under-Appreciated Video Games Of 2018

5. Life Is Strange 2

Batman The Enemy Within
Dontnod

The second season of Life Is Strange is far from over yet, but it seems gamers are not clicking with Sean and Daniel the way they did with Max and Chloe. That's a shame because Life Is Strange 2 is actually brilliant. It's difficult to say just how the episodic will turn out, but the first episode sets the stage brilliantly.

Much like its predecessor, the second season of LIS focuses on a duo who are surrounded by mystery and drama. This time it's about Sean and Daniel who, after a tragedy in their Seattle hometown, are forced to flee and head towards Mexico - with a little supernatural ability thrown in for good measure. Perhaps it's just because Season 1 was such a surprise hit, that this one feels like it isn't resonating the same way, because it's definitely got nothing to do with the quality.

Dontnod's games are very similar to Telltale's in the way that they play, but they run smoother and offer far more in the way of gameplay. If you're looking for a great story, try Episode 1 for free on Xbox Game Pass.
