10 New Video Games You NEED To Be Playing (But Aren't)
6. To a T
To a T is the latest game from Keita Takahashi, creator and designer of the Katamari Damacy series, and yet despite the man's plaudits, his wildly weird new puzzle-adventure game came and went without much fanfare back in May.
To a T's delightfully odd story follows Teen, a 13-year-old boy who lives his life stuck in a T-pose, and with the help of his dog must navigate everyday life while unable to lower his arms, ensuring even acts as trivial as brushing one's teeth are... a bit of a performance.
Though the core gameplay is a relatively basic blend of town exploration, dialogue with the locals, and basic fetch quests, it's shone through such a bizarre and unexpected prism that it becomes something so much more memorable.
You likely won't see the game's wild later twists and turns coming, but crucially To a T wraps up in around 4-5 hours before its charm offensive can risk wearing thin.
