10 Once Great Video Game Franchises That Should Disappear

6. Final Fantasy I get a feeling a lot of people will be agreeing with me on this one. Such an epic game has taken such a fall in recent years. A franchise which has spanned very nearly twenty five years in the making. But after 2010's release of A Realm Reborn, it left many fans dumbstruck and in awe of such a terrible game that quite frankly didn't deserve to be associated with the Final Fantasy title. It's very hard to pinpoint a game in the series that didn't score badly at all, but their latest release has left questions being asked as to whether Square Enix can provide a successful reply to A Realm Reborn? Whether it can remains to be seen, but I would personally like to see Final Fantasy hold up the white flag and bow down after their next release due in April 2013, before any more damage is caused. It seems such a shame to say, but sometimes games that have had such high standards need to take a long hard look at themselves when ratings start to drop and consider pulling the plug.
